Tell us a little bit about yourself. Who are you?

I’m a single mom of four - three boys and one girl. Two of my four kiddos have special needs and I am neurodivergent myself. I started writing about five years ago when I was pregnant with my youngest son. My writing process is a little different than other authors, but I truly love getting lost in the story I’m writing.

What are a few of your favorite things/least favorite things?

I love my dog, funny graphic tees, and sweet tea.

Did you always want to be an author?

I’ve always liked writing, but until I jumped into it, I had never considered being an author.

If not, what did you want to be when you were a child?

An astronaut.

When did you know you wanted to be an author?

The winter of 2020.

Besides writing, do you have any hobbies? Do any of your characters share the same interests as you?

I stay so busy with the kids that I don’t really get out.

Throughout all of my books, there are references to my likes and interests. For example, you’ll see references to Star Wars or Doctor Who.

Do you have anything that you’re truly passionate about outside of writing? (Could be a cause, a project, etc.)

I am passionate about Autism and ADHD awareness. My oldest son has Autism (Asperger’s), ADHD, ODD, sensory processing disorder, and anxiety. My middle son and I have ADHD.

How long have you been writing?

I started writing during the summer of 2020.

Which genres do you write in?

Erotica (smut).

Are you independently published or traditionally published? Why did you choose this route? What are the benefits/drawbacks?

I self-publish because it works best for me financially.

What do you enjoy most and least about being an author?

I enjoy getting lost in the story as I write. I am most open when I’m writing, so I feel all of the emotions as the story unfolds. Marketing is my least favorite thing about being an author. Seriously - I am terrible, so thank God for my PA, Shannie.

Are you a plotter, a plantser, or a pantser?

I plan very little, so I’m probably 90-95% pantser.

Do you have any writing routines (things you do that help you write)?

I need [it to be] reasonably quiet and [to have] time. Once I get started writing, it’s really hard for me to stop. Once I get into the zone, pretty much everything else fades away.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Writing sprints with others!

How many WIPs do you have going right now? Can you tell us anything about them?

My next release is the third book in the Playing the Game series called Grant. Grant will be released on MLB opening day, which is March 25th this year. This book has some kinks - VERY HOT!

How many books do you currently have published? Tell us about them.

I have seven books available. There are three standalones called When Things Get WILD, Taking What He Wants, and She Ruined Me. There are two books available in the Playing the Games series and another two books in the Business Not As Usual series.

A few of the books have a little more of a story line, but all of them are dripping with spice. I am a huge fan of the age gap trope, so almost all of my books have at least a five year age gap.

Where do you get the inspiration for your books? Do you insert pieces of yourself and people you know into your books?

I get book ideas at random times - doing dishes, school pick up lines, etc. Sometimes full scenes come to me in my dreams. Those are good dreams.

Are there any other authors who have inspired you?

There are several other authors who have helped me and guided me along the way. I am very thankful for them.

Do you prefer standalone books or book series?

I like both, but I’m not really a fan of the fluff, so I usually go for standalones.

What is your most popular book?

When Things Get WILD.

Which of your books do you wish received more love than it does?

Taking What He Wants or She Ruined Me.

How do you handle the author/life balance? (i.e. writing/editing/graphic design/home life/etc.)

I’m still trying to figure this out. Some days are better than others, but ultimately my kids come first. There are definitely some late nights, sleepless nights, and squeezing things in between other things. Again, my PA, Shannie, is AMAZING. She helps me so much with almost everything.

What do you do for your mental health and to recharge your creativity?

I go to counseling every week, go to lunch by myself, take hot baths, or even take ten minutes to myself. Self-care has become very important to me. And to recharge my creativity… I watch porn. Don’t judge! LOL

Do you have any advice for unpublished writers or people who hope to become authors?

Just start writing!

What was your most recent five-star read?

His Secret Obsession by Nicole Vanauken.

What's your favorite dinosaur?

The T-Rex.

What is the best gift you have been given?

Cash that I used to get a massage.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

12?

What's the most daring thing you've ever done?

That’s NSFW.

Are you a clean or messy person?

Um, can I say I am a facilitator of controlled chaos?

Do you collect anything besides books?

Bouncy balls.

Do you believe in aliens? Ghosts?

Yes, to both.

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

Chocolate

If you could be a shifter what would your alternate form be?

My favorite animal is a panda, but that doesn’t seem intimidating enough.

What are you interested in that most people aren’t?

17th, 18th and 19th century court memoirs, which are excellent research sources for the series. Again: Truth is stranger than fiction.

Which inanimate object would be the most annoying if it played loud, upbeat music while using it?

My stove or dishwasher.

What are you interested in that most people aren't?

Dad jokes or random facts?

As a child, what did you think would be awesome about being an adult but isn’t as awesome as you thought it would be? Why?

I had the understanding that as an adult, I’d be able to do whatever I wanted. That is not the case.

What food have you never eaten but would really like to try?

I don’t like to try new foods.

What would you use to survive the zombie apocalypse? Why?

My first thought would be pew pews, but I really don’t know.

Where can we find you online?

Do you have any planned events?

Shannie is always working on an author takeover for me in groups across Facebook, but I also applied for a STYK with Chaptermint from February 11th - February 13th, 2026.

Is there anything else you want our readers to know?
